Sun and Steel

Building can be very frustrating at times, I am learning, despite my years in the trade. It's different when its your own and you want to see progress every day. Today was special, we arrived on a glorious sunny day to start our holiday. Naturally we dived down to site to see the steel having known that is was started yesterday, and wow...this is the kind of progress that makes those other days manageable. It looks great, it looks sharp, and it immediately gives us a sense of scale, a sense of the views we will have and a sense of its place.
